Ivy entered a Film Rights Acquisition Agreement on 25 January 2023 and a dramatic rights acquisition agreement with PMF on 10 March 2023. Under these contracts, Ivy acquired dramatic and non-drainage rights worldwide for the film, acquired co-producers credits, and gained constructive guarantee for returns.
The petition is looking for a court order with PMF directors Vishwa Prasad Tumblam Gutti and Subramanya Vivekananda Kuchibotla as well as Deccan Dreams Animation LLP, Prasad Extreme Digital Cinema Network, Cube Cineology, and UFO Movies.
The Economic Times story claims that despite the controversy, Ivy Entertainment has told the court that it intends to release the film to end production and protect his adequate investment.
