Over the years, Dinesh Vijan and Rajkummar Rao have worked together on movies like Made in China, Raabta, Stretète, Stretre 2 and Bhool Chuk Maaf, among others. The duo is preparing for their sixth collaboration in the form of the Ujjwal Nikam biopic with Avinash Arun as director. The film is ready to take place on the floors in October 2025, and the preparation work is in full swing. And now, IHNS has learned exclusively that Dinereh Vijan and Avinash Arun have enlisted in Wamiqa Gabbi to play the main female role of this Ujjwal Nikam biopic.
A sharing source, “Rajkummar rao, And Wamiqa Gabbi shared good chemistry at Bhook Chuk Maaf, and manufacturers are looking to bring them back to a new complete space. The documents with the duo are completed, and they seek to make several cycles of actor workshops in September, before taking the film on the floors in October. »»
The source also informs that Rajkummar and Wamiqa will undergo a change in their look, to bring a sense of authenticity to the cinema. “The Ujjwal Nikam biopic celebrates the heritage of one of the greatest lawyers of our generation, and will focus on its controversial cases of 1993 Bombay explombe as well as Mumbai 2008 train attacks,” added the source.
Speaking of Dinesh Vijan, the filmmaker is currently preparing for the release of Param Sundari, and has a list of films aligned for his release – ranging from Thama and Cocktail 2 to Ikkis, Daler, and more. Rajkummar Rao, on the other hand, to his slate filled with films everywhere, ranging from comedy to the thriller and a film on the life of Bhagat Singh.
