Anushka Shetty is currently promoting her next film, Ghaati, which is expected to be released on September 5, 2025. While the actress has moved away from interviews in person, she was recently taken in a telephone interview where she expressed her hope for a cross between her character of Ghaati and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa.

Addressing Gulte, Anushka Shetty said: “I really hope it happens. Someone please say this to Sukumar Sir. It would be exciting to see a cross between the Aljun and Ghaati pusher.”
“Gathering two characters of raw and rustic dramas would be special. Hoping that Sukumar Garu offers something interesting. You know how superheroes do multisgments, we could also do it,” added the Baahubali star.
Anushka and Allu Arjun shared the screen twice in their careers. First the Krish Jagarlamadi Director Vedam (2010) and later in Rudhramadevi (2015).
In the same conversation, Anushka Shetty expressed her desire to find Prabhas on the screen, but said that she was waiting for the right script.
The Billa actress said: “I really want to work with Prabhas once again. However, what I feel is that after Baahubali, it must be something just as effective or something new. If Prabhas and I love, we will do it together. ”

Ghaati is a criminal drama of Telugu language action with Anushka Shetty in the main role. The film tells the story of a woman who is from the Ghaati tribe, known for having grown and counted cannabis.
When her business partners betray her, she must rise beyond expectations, finally becoming a legend in her community.
With Anushka in mind, the film also features Vikram Prabhu as a co-chief. The casting of the whole includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Rudra Mulpuru, Jisshu Sengupta, John Vijay, Ravira Vijay and many others.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the drama of the action crime was initially released on July 11, 2025, but was postponed to September 5.
For the future, Anushka should soon make its debut in Malayalam cinema with the film by Jayasurya Starrer Fantasy Adventure Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer.
