Two children of Karishma Kapoor have filed a civil suit on the property of their late father, industrialist Sujay Kapoor in the Delhi High Court, which is estimated to be around Rs 30,000 crore. According to ANI, brother -in -law represents his mother as a legal guardian, accused her stepmother, Priya Kapoor of creating a will to gain property control.

According to the plaintiff, Priya Kapoor initially denied that Suzay surpassed one will and said that her assets were organized under the RK family trust. He later created a document on March 21, 2025, claiming that it was his wish, alleging that the children were fabricated. The suit wants the division of property, rendering accounts and a permanent prohibition against the defendants.
Assets and known assets
The plaintiff said that at the time of his death, his father’s wealth is fully aware. While he attached a list of known properties, he alleged that Priya Kapoor hid information and failed to disclose the entire limit of her assets.
On June 12, 2025, Suzay Kapoor died while playing Polo in Windsor, UK. Their children claim that they assured them of their financial future, started enterprises in her name, acquired property on their behalf, and recognized them as the beneficiaries of the family trust.
Defendant in case
The first and second defectist Priya Kapoor and their minor sons are both lived in the family farmhouse in Delhi’s royalty. The third defectist is Sunaji’s mother, while the fourth is a woman who is identified as the executive of the election.
The children further alleged that after the death of his father, his funeral was held on June 19 at the Lodhi crematorium’s ground – Priya Kapoor limited her reach to trust documents and financial assets. They also claim that they were invited to corporate meetings of Sona BLW Prison forging Limited (Sona Commentar) and asked to sign the paperwork without giving clarity on the trust deed and related records.
Close bond with father
The plaintiff described his relationship with his father closely, marked with frequent holidays, business conversations and individual milestones. He argues that these interaction reflected his commitment to his future safety and welfare.
With suspicion of perceived will and increasing concerns about transparency, children have approached the Delhi High Court, which will now examine the validity of the competition document and the division of assets.
