The director Premkumar recently announced that he was running a film with Chiyaan Vikram, temporarily entitled Chiyaan64. However, the filmmaker also revealed that the film would be delayed, and he will first run a film with Fahadh Faasil instead.

Speaking with the Gobinath host on YouTube, Premkumar revealed that his film with Chiyaan Vikram is still in writing, and before that, he will make a film with Fahadh Faasil.
The director said: “My next film with Fahadh Faasil will be completely different in relation to my previous films. However, what will remain unique in each of them is the emotional factor that touches you.”
“The film with Chiyaan Vikram is still being written. To make it happen on the floors, I would need about four consecutive months to finish it. In fact, the thriller I planned with Fahadh had been in my mind for almost 4 years,” he added.
Speaking of his process, Premkumar stressed how everyone around him advised him not to immediately enter the kind of action, because he is known for his light films like 96 and Meiyazhagan. However, this is exactly the image he wants to break with his upcoming stories.
Continuing his conversation, Premkumar said: “Fahadh Sir really loved the story. We know what kind of actor he is, and I only told 40 minutes in history. As I spoke to him, each scene left Fahadh with a different reaction, which was exhilarating to witness. It will be a film Tamil Direct. ”
By concluding his words, Premkumar added that he did not want to take a long break to take cinema. At the start, he wanted to start filming before Meiyazhagan finished a year of release, but now, the FAFA film will only take place on the floors until January 2026.

In July 2025, it was officially announced that Chiyaan Vikram would join Premkumar for an action film, temporarily entitled Chiyaan64. However, as it has been delayed, it seems that the actor can start filming Chiyaan63, directed by director Maaveeran Madonne Ashwin, although a confirmation is pending.
On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil was last seen in a leading role in the film Malayalam Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira. The actor is currently involved in the production of the film Starrer Mammootty-Mohanlal, Patriot (MMMN).
