Madharaasi, with Sivakarthikeyan in the main role, with Vidyut Jammwal and Rukmini Vasanth, performs decently at the box office. The crime action film, directed by Ar Murugadoss, started its bisonnier with Rs 12.30 cros and finished its opening week at Rs 49.35 raw crore at the Tamil box office.
The Sivakarthikeyan Starrer entered the second weekend with a drop of 15% on Friday, adding RS 2.85 crosses to the count. The Madharaasi Total Box Office has crossed the RS crores mark, now at 51.80 raw rupes in its domestic lawn.
Madharaasi needs better legs during the weekend
Supported by Sri Lakshmi films, Madharaasi should target a substantial jump on Saturday and Sunday to cross a successful theatrical race. His box office fate will be determined by his grip during the second weekend, then in the coming week.
Based on current trends, director Ar Murugadoss is expected to attend significant declines after his second weekend. While Madharaasi is struggling at the box office, Sivakarthikeyan will then be seen in Parasakthi, who should compete with Jana Nayagan from Thalapathy Vijay in Pongal 2026.
