The film Telugu Mirai has a strong opening weekend of Rs. 63 Core in the world. The Teja Sajja star collected near Rs. 49 crosses on the internal market of India, while another Rs. 14 crores (1.70 million USD) came from abroad.
The film saw a robust start on Friday and kept stable throughout the weekend. Growth was limited because the film was already playing at full capacity in most centers. Andhra Pradesh, who generally sees big jumps on Sunday, only succeeded in minor gains, while Telangana remained flat. The decision not to implement ticket increases has contributed to maintaining high occupations. Recently, the occupations for Telugu films, even the biggest, have dropped due to excessive hikes.
The version doubled in Hindi experienced a decent start for a film without nominal value and then witnessed a very positive trajectory, with Sunday affairs more than the double of the opening day. Although the overall figures are still low, we have seen films nicknamed starting at low, then head for a large number, especially those with a religious element, which this film also has.

The Telugu film industry has a very bad year at the box office, not only due to a lack of success but a lack of versions completely. September started on a positive note, bringing a certain relief. Mirai has become a success and could well become bigger. Before that, a film entitled Little Hearts also succeeded very well last week.
