Rajinikanth breaks the silence during his reunion with Kamal Haasan after 46 years, says that “the director has not yet been decided”

The superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have made the headlines for some time, because they are ready to share the screen after 46 years. After Haasan confirmed the collaboration, Rajinikanth also reaffirmed it. However, it seems that they have not yet finalized a story or a director.

In an airport interaction shared by Puthiya Thalaimurai, Rajinikanth revealed that he and Kamal Haasan will meet for a project that will be funded by Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and giant red films together. However, the director has not yet been finalized.

According to his own words, “we plan a collaborative company with Red Giant and Raaj Kamal. The director has not yet been corrected. We both want to appear together, but for that, we need an appropriate character and history. If this happens, then we will surely act together. ”

“We have the plan for the company, but the director, the character and other aspects have not been set,” added Rajinikanth.

Earlier, there were rumors that director Lokesh Kanagaraj could lead the film featuring the pillars of Tamil cinema. However, it now seems that he may not lead the project, although no official confirmation has been made.

Recent films by Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan

Rajinikanth had recently appeared in the main role of the Drama Flick Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film follows the story of Deva, a former daily salary worker who is investigating the death of his close friend, to unravel the secrets of a crime union with which he shares a dark past.

Besides Rajinikanth, Coolie had Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj and many others in key roles. He also included an appearance by Aamir Khan. The film is currently broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan was seen for the last time in a main role for the Voyou life of the realization of Mani Ratnam. Actuating Gangster had Haasan as an ankle opening of the aging mafia which enters a deadly rivalry with his adopted son, setting up a battle for supremacy. It is available to broadcast on Netflix.

While Rajinikanth should then appear in Jaôlier 2, KH is at the head of the KH237 temporarily entitled, directed by the duo Anbarivu and written by Kumbalangi Nights Fame Syam Pushkaran.
