Starrant Ajith Kumar Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, was released in theaters on April 10, 2025. After the massive theatrical success, the film began to broadcast on Netflix, but was now deleted from the streaming service after the case of an offense of objectives from Ilaiyaraaja.
Is the good ugly bad of Ajith Kumar deleted from Netflix?
On September 17, 2025, the OTT Netflix giant deleted the successful film Good Bad Ugly from its platform. The film had been available on the digital space for 4 months, but has now been deleted due to a copyright violation.
The referral was made following an order from the court which prohibited producers from exhibiting the film in any format, citing the unauthorized use of three songs composed by the Maestro. The composer had continued the filmmakers for having used his songs – Ottha Ruba Tharen, in Jodi Manja Kuruvi and Ilaai Idho without appropriate authorization.
Earlier in April, Ilaiyaraaja sent a legal opinion to mythri Movie Makers producers for having used songs without his consent. The composer also requested compensation from RS 5 CRORE.
However, according to a report by Hindustan Times, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, the manufacturers of mythri films, had previously declared that they had respected all the necessary protocols and acquired the rights of the respective music labels.
The producer said: “We have taken permission from all the music labels required for the songs we used in the film. The labels hold the rights, so we followed the protocol and took the NOC. We have done things through the book. ”
To date, the film would not be available on Netflix only in India.

Good Bad Ugly, with Ajith Kumar in the main role, presented the story of AK (Red Dragon), a former gangster serving a perpetuity imprisonment, in search of redemption for his violent past to obtain a better future for his son.
However, chaos follows when his son is supervised for a false case, forcing AK to return to his old ways. With Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Das as co-chefs, the film also presented Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko and many others in key roles.
