If you plan to watch the show of Pawan Kalyan in theaters this week, here is the IHNS review that you should consult.
The intrigue
OG (or they call it OG) follows the story of Ojas Gambheera (alias OG), once the protector of Satya Dada, who had the port of Bombay at the time. After an altercation between them, Ojas withdrew in the shadows, living a quiet life with his wife and daughter.
Years later, the life of Satya Dada and Bombay herself are threatened by the Tyran Omi Bhau, which prompted OG to return. Why Og returns to his old methods and how he plans to stop imminent chaos, form the heart of history.
Good
OG is a festival for fans, and that’s the best part of the film. The film looks like an ode to the celebrity of Pawan Kalyan, a tribute to his cinematographic journey, offering a fans service in almost all the scene it appears.
Although Pawan’s script time is limited compared to his usual companies, the inimitable aura that he pumps. The initial half of the film does not take much time to install, quickly taking momentum to provide full -action moments.
Mix the magnetic presence of Pawan in a character like OG, Soujeeth realizes the dream of each director of Fanboy. Although writing and management do not leave a lasting impression, the mass elements of the film leave the public committed.
Emraan Hashmi offers an impressive performance, and OG becomes an example of a manual of the way a Fan plans his favorite superstar on the big screen, overflowing with Flair and Swag.
From a technical point of view, Thaman knows the bar with his thunderous background score. Its exhilarating compositions are purely designed for large screens, leaving the public with goosebumps.
In addition, the action sequences establish a balance between rhythm and brutality, justifying the ambitious scale of the film. In addition, cinematography and costume design also deserve special praise.
The bad
While OG is made to measure for the massive fans base of Pawan Kalyan, it can disappoint anyone outside this circle. While the first half successfully elevates the film scale, the second half is not convinced to keep it engaging for a wider audience.
The story loses speed after the interval and has trouble recovering to the highest point. The strong accumulation is moving away due to weak writing, leaving an unsatisfactory aftertaste.
Although certain moments of tribute can excite fans, the general public can find them commonplace, whether it is the action scene with a stylized idle or an exaggerated radiance intended to raise the hero in a “FiresTorm” greater than life.
OG’s biggest disappointment is his predictable scenario and disappointing monologues. He falls into a secular cinematographic trope of Hero vs bad, missing the chance to explore deeper themes or more original scenarios.
An unnecessary link with one of the previous films of SAJEETH and the inclusion of half -cooked Japanese elements hinders the script. Although the technical aspects are largely solid, the publishing is less than the party.
Along the execution time makes the film exhausting, and bad transitions even have an impact on the effectiveness of music and background scores.
Performance
Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly the star of the show. The film rests entirely on his shoulders, relying on his presence on the screen and his charisma to hide the average writing.
With a formidable performance by a hashmi Emraan filled with booty, Priyanka Arul Mohan adequately plays his role. In addition, Arjun Das also gave some impressive moments in the film.
The verdict
They call her OG is a love letter from a fan to his idol. Each scene exists to please the inner soul of each fan, and in this regard, it strikes the brand. However, the lack of creativity and originality is obvious, leaving little for the general public.
If you are a hardcore fan of Pawan Kalyan, then this actuating gangster is probably your cup of tea and is worth living in theaters.
