Sameer Wankhed, director of former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Zonal, has filed a defamation case against Red Chilli Entertainment Private in the Delhi High Court. Ltd., owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Global Streaming Giant Netflix, and others. The ANI reported that the suit alleged that the Bollywood series BA ** DS includes “false, malicious and defamation”, which harm their reputation.

The development took place shortly after a scene of Aryan Khan’s direction. In the sequence, an officer comes to a high-profile party storm and faces a man a joint smoking person. When the officer comes to know that the man is not from Bollywood, he rejects him. After moments, the officer targets another partygor – not indulging in drugs but a drink – and arresting him completely due to his Bollywood affiliation.
Aryan Khan was in a hurry to draw similarities between Netizens View and Aryan Khan’s 2021 arrest between his 2021 arrests during a cruise ship raid, an operation led by Wankhed. Although Arya was taken into custody for alleged occupation and drug consumption, no drug was found on it.
The case later increased into a high-profile dispute when the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) accused Wankhedi of attempting to withdraw Rs 25 crore from the Khan family in exchange for favorable treatment. Reports reported that Rs 50 lakh was allegedly paid, although Wankhede has constantly denied the allegations.
The Delhi High Court is expected to hear the defamation petition of Vankhed in the coming weeks.
