Exclusive: Rishab Shetty shares a big update on Jai Hanuman with Prasanth Varma, ‘fabulous script, I could not refuse …’

 

Rishab Shetty is on a promotional vague for Kantara: Chapter 1, the prequel to her successful film 2022 Kantara. In an exclusive conversation with IHNS, Rishab Shetty not only talked about various aspects of Kantara’s manufacturing, but also abandoned an update on his next film with Prasanth Varma, which is part of a cinematographic universe.

The actor-Filmaker was asked how he came aboard Jai Hanuman to play the divine role. To which, Rishab shared that he did not want to engage in a film before the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, but after hearing the narration, he could not say no to Prasanth and immediately signed the film.

While recalling his meeting with Varma, the actor of the Kirik party, said: “Prasanth Varma has a fabulous script. NHI KAR SAKA.

(Prasanth Varma has a fabulous script. The story is so interesting. I thought I shouldn’t get anything involved before Kantara, let’s finish and see him later. But Prasanth Varma came and told me the story, and I could not refuse. So, I immediately said yes. After that, we did a photos.

He added: “I am excited Unke Saath Karne Ke Liye. Prasanth and the whole mythri team (Mythri Movie Makers).”

For the UNversed, Rishab Shetty is headlining of the titular role in Jai Hanuman, the next episode of PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe). The film is likely to follow the events of Hanuman (2024) with Teja Sajja. If everything happens according to the plan, the mythological superhero film should take place on the floors from January 2026, with an eye on the outing window in 2027. In addition to Hanuman, Prasanth also announced two other superhero films – Mahakali and Adhira, which will also be part of his cinematographic universe.
