They call it OG won USD 4.80 million (Rs. 42.50 Core) during its international opening day, which includes USD 3.75 million previews on Wednesday. Combined with Rs. 88.50 crosses in India, the world total until Thursday is located at Rs. 131 crores. This is the first film by Pawan Kalyan to win more than Rs. 100 Brokes of crores during his “opening day”.
Most of the collections abroad came from the United States, where the film collected USD 3.65 million, including 3.10 million USD in preview. The preview numbers were the fourth higher of all time for a Telugu film, just behind Kalki 2898 AD, RRR and Pushpa 2. The film was decently well with 550K USD, although it could have been better. If the film could show some growth over the weekend, it could end up with 5 million USD and more on weekends.
Apart from states, the film has published strong figures. The United Kingdom has timed GBP 260K Plus, including the overviews of 190K GBP. Australia marked the opening day of 330 km, while the Middle East reported 260k USD. All these figures are career records for Pawan Kalyan by big margins and compare themselves well with the biggest Telugu films.
