Deepa Mehta, the first wife of filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, has passed away. His son, Satya Manjrekar confirmed the news and shared a heartfelt tribute through Instagram.

Satya posted a picture of her mother, saying “I Miss You Mama.” After his death, many friends and acquaintances offered condolences, many of which Satya participated in his Instagram stories. A well -wisher expressed, “Today a guiding light is lost. She was more than a mother, she was an inspiration. Her sari in the construction of business, her strength, courage and passion strengthened many girls to dream big. She is always through the life she has touched and the path she said.

Mahesh Manjrekar and Deepa got married in 1987, who knew each other from their college days. During his marriage, he welcomed two children’s daughter Ashwami and son Satya. His Sangh ended in 1995, after which his children lived with Mahesh. Later, Mahesh married actress Medha Manjrekar, and she has a daughter, Saii, who acted with roles Dabangag 3, ChiefAnd Kuch Khatta Ho Jai,
