Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have taken legal action against Google and YouTube, have filed a case of Rs 4 crore for alleged misuse of their images and videos through the AI-borne Deepfec. The Bollywood couple, who had previously claimed their personality rights, have accused the platforms of allowing the material manipulated to spread uncontrollably.

According to a report by Reuters, Bachchan has expressed concern over the contents of YouTube and the third-party training policies, claiming that they make space for abuse. The court filing allegedly stated, “Such materials being used to train AI models have the ability to multiply examples of any violation of material – first being uploaded on YouTube and is seen by the public, and then being used to train.”
The legal complaint highlights the “arrogant” and “sexually clear” deepfac videos that have been broadcast online. One such channel, AI Bollywood Ishik, is said to host a clip with more than 250 manipulations, featuring celebrities with celebrities, in which many videos cross millions of scenes. One of them is allegedly shown to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Salman Khan in the pool, and in the fabricated scenes show Abhishek Bachchan, where he suddenly kisses an actress or reacts angrily to the changed scenes.
Last month, the Delhi High Court directed Google’s lawyer to submit a detailed written response. The next hearing in this case is scheduled for 15 January.
On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan is ready for two major projects – KingA contingent of artists also includes Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Abhay Verma, and King ShivajiOn Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a biopic starred Ritish Deshmukh in the role. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not officially confirmed any upcoming films.
