According to a report by Peepingmoon, the true story of Veer Hansal Mehta will title a love story produced by films. The project brings together an impressive creative team, with the filmmaker Lizo Jose Peliceari, a filmmaker of Malayalam, started his Hindi direction. Like -known for films like Angamali diarys (2017) and Jalikattu (2019), Pellicary has earned recognition for its bold storytelling and unique cinematic style. Connecting the weight of the film, Oscar winning composer R Rahman has been planted to make his music.
Currently casting is going on for the female lead, and the production is scheduled to begin in February 2026.
Veer Hirani, graduates of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada) in London, are already making their acting debut in streaming space Pritam PedroThe first series of Rajkumar Hirani for Jio Hotstar, Arshad Warsi and co-contemporary by Vikrant Massey. The upcoming Hansal Mehta Production, however, will mark the introduction of his official dramatic film, making him familiar with the big screen.
Hansal Mehta, who is producing a slate of actively dramatic and OTT projects as a manufacturer, supports this launch as one of the major undertakings of his banner. On the Directory Front, Mehta recently unveiled Gandhi– An ambitious series on Mahatma Gandhi which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) – and is currently working on Netflix business drama starring Anil Kapoor and Vijay Verma.
