Jolly LLB 3 witnessed a marginal rise today on 4th Tuesday and collected Rs 45 lakh. The surge was driven by discounted ticket prices across the Hindi heartland. Jolly LLB 3’s fourth week revenue is Rs. 3.65 crores. The film is expected to end the week earning Rs. 4.20 crore to Rs. 4.40 crore, making its total revenue Rs. 111 crore nett.
Backed by Star Studios, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s film is in its final stages. Thamma Aur Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is expected to release with the arrival of Diwali 2025. Looking at its trends, Jolly LLB 3 is aiming to end its entire theatrical run at around Rs. 113 crore nett.
This is neither a good nor a bad figure, because at one time it seemed that the film would complete its theatrical run below the Rs 100 crore mark. However, it saw good traction from the second weekend onwards. Despite the release of Kantara: Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari, it continued to attract low levels of audience. Jolly LLB 3 would end up with an average performance at the Indian box office.
The primary challenge for these medium-scale films is the change in audience. Audiences are choosing digital over the traditional theatrical experience. There’s an eight-week window, but audiences are willing to wait for films that lack anticipation. Jolly LLB 3 managed to garner appreciation, but since initial interest was low, it did not gain the same traction as films in the past. What is needed is to make the theatrical window so long that it becomes inconvenient for the audience to wait.
