Ek Deewane Ki Diwaniyat continued its good hold on the second day and collected Rs 1 crore. 7.50 crore to Rs. 7.75 crore nett. This comes after a stellar opening day for Rs. 9 crores, this became the best opener of Harshvardhan Rane’s career. The fall on the second day is around 16 percent, which is an encouraging sign. Places where Diwali was celebrated yesterday, such as Punjab and parts of Maharashtra, reported a rise today, while Delhi-UP remained the best-hit areas.
The two-day revenue of Ek Diwan Ki Diwaniyat is estimated at Rs. Reached. Earning Rs 16.50 crore at the domestic box office. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles, the tragic love story is expected to move through a favorable theatrical run. Even with good trends from here, the film will be decided as a hit. It will continue to get the benefits of the post-Diwali period for a few days.
The film has a good chance of earning around Rs 10 crore. 37 crore to Rs. It grossed Rs 40 crore in its 6-day extended weekend, which would be a good figure for such a medium budget film. For the record, Rane’s Sanam Teri Kasam earned Rs. During its re-release this year, it became his highest-grossing film with a gross of Rs 34 crore. This could have also been a perfect ending for Ek Deewane Ki Diwaniyat, however, the way it is performing at the box office, the film will easily cross the Rs. 50 crore mark etc.
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film was released in limited release due to conflict with the much bigger film Thamma. The film was not released in many single-screen theaters and smaller centers where it could have registered good occupancy. The film could have benefited more from better performance.
