Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office: Good performance continues, Sanam beats Teri Kasam in 5 days

A crazy person’s madness is about Rs. Is considering collecting Rs. According to initial estimates, it earned Rs 6.50 crore at the Indian box office on its first Saturday. The surge is about 25 percent compared to Saturday, which is less than the normal Saturday surge. However, since the film is coming out of the holiday period and Friday still has some holiday benefits, this was expected.

There has been a decline in collections every day till date, but this is normal for the post-Diwali period, as the impact of holidays is reducing every day and business has become easier. The madness remains better than normal. One possible reason is that it being a youth film, it was less popular on Diwali than a family or comedy film. As a result, when the festive surge subsided, the decline was less pronounced. The limited release has also played a role, giving it spillover business. The film has now started getting shows on some single screens in the Hindi belt where it could not release during the holidays and despite the delayed release the film is receiving a strong response.

The film’s total five-day earnings were Rs. 35 crores. It has crossed the entire tally of Sanam Teri Kasam (re-release) in five days. This would have been an acceptable total for this film, but now it can do much more than that. The six day extended weekend is around Rs. 42 crores. Monday is also a holiday in some parts of the country, so the collection will be strong even then. It should cross Rs. 50 crore in the extended first week and from there could target Rs. 70 crores or more final.

These are fantastic figures in terms of the cast and costs involved, with the film proving to be a hit. Earlier this year, seeing the response of Sanam Teri Kasam (re-release) and Saiyara, there was hope even before the release of the film. The common factor behind all three is hit music. The importance of music in Hindi cinema cannot be underestimated. The decline in music quality is one of the major reasons for the decline in business that we have seen recently.

The day-wise box office collections of Ek Deewane Ki Diwaniyat in India are as follows:

Thursday Rupee. 6.25 crores.
