Rashmika Mandanna is all set to hit the big screen with her long-awaited romantic drama The Girlfriend this November. As the trailer of the film was released recently, producer SKN (Srinivas Kumar) praised the actress a lot for her dedication and not putting any restrictions on her working hours.
Producer lauds Rashmika Mandanna for not having restrictions on working hours
Speaking at the trailer launch event of The Girlfriend, the producer emphasized that Rashmika Mandanna has never limited her time when it comes to work and she is always available whenever required.
The producer said, “Rashmika never imposed any restrictions on us regarding the shooting schedule. She is the only actress in India who does not impose restrictions on working hours. She was always available whenever needed and worked beyond the stipulated hours without any complaint.”
He further said that his belief in the team and his selfless attitude speaks volumes about his character. According to her, Rashmika really believed in The Girlfriend and supported the team wholeheartedly. Unlike others, she loved her work and did not consider it just a job.
Girlfriend trailer shows Rashmika’s raw performance
The makers of The Girlfriend unveiled its trailer ahead of its release on November 7, 2025. Directed by Rahul Raveendran, the upcoming Telugu film follows the turbulent journey of Bhumma, a young woman who is trapped in a suffocating relationship with her classmate.
The film is expected to explore the challenges faced by the heroine with her toxic lover, with the involvement of a mysterious woman further adding to her pain and suffering.
The trailer shows the Pushpa actress giving a strong and powerful performance, alongside Dhekshit Shetty and Anu Emmanuel as the co-leads. With music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame, Rao Ramesh and Rohini also play important roles.

Rashmika Mandanna’s work front
Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in the lead role in the romantic horror comedy Thamma, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is part of the MHCU cinematic universe.
Looking to the future, the actress is expected to star in Allu Arjun’s magnum opus, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Directed by Atlee, the film will reportedly feature him in a negative role, with Deepika Padukone also seen as one of the co-stars.
