After making her OTT debut with Call Me Bey, Ananya Panday is all set to return as the stylish and feisty Bey in the much-awaited second season of the show. The Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment backed coming-of-age drama, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video India in September 2024, has received an enthusiastic response from the audience. Soon after its release, Prime Video officially confirmed the second season, and now, fresh reports suggest that Call Me Bay 2 will go on floors by the end of November 2025.

According to a report in Mid-Day, a source close to the development shared, “Call Me Bey is one of the most successful shows for both Prime Video India and Dharmatic Entertainment. Preparations for the second season started soon after the show went off air last year. In a few weeks, the cast will be facing the camera.”
The insider further added that the creative team intends to continue building on themes that deeply resonate with audiences. “Hashtag Behencode It was liked by the female audience and the producers want to take it further. The first part featured the track #MeToo. The upcoming edition will also have a strong message, delivered in the show’s famously light-hearted tone,” the source said.
Colin D’Cunha, who directed the first season, is expected to return to the director’s chair. Most of the original cast including Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, Muskan Jaffrey and Niharika Lyra Dutt will reportedly reprise their roles. The second season aims to deepen the exploration of brotherhood, one of the highlights of the first season, while increasing the humor and emotional drama.
