Many people argue that films do not perform well after four weeks, but this is completely wrong. The disadvantage is not just that a film gets missed after a digital release, but it also forces the audience to think that when the film is coming out for free in four weeks, why not just wait instead of spending money and time on it? And at that point, you’re killing your own business, maybe not in the short term, but definitely in the long run.
