As anticipation grows for the final season of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, reports have emerged about serious off-screen tension between the main cast and personal turmoil in the life of one of its stars. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the show, has accused her co-star David Harbour, best known for playing Jim Hopper, of bullying and harassment. The allegations reportedly surfaced before shooting began on the last season.

According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, Brown filed a harassment claim against Harbor, citing inappropriate behavior, although there were no allegations of sexual misconduct. This led to a lengthy internal investigation lasting several months. Despite the turmoil, Harbour’s wife, singer Lily Allen, publicly supported him during the investigation.
In parallel with these allegations at work, Harbor is going through a difficult personal period. Reports indicate that her marriage to Allen ended in February 2025 after allegations of infidelity surfaced. Alan releases his album ‘west end girl‘in October 2025, where she openly references the heartbreak and betrayal allegedly associated with Harbor’s extramarital affairs. ‘Songs likeMadeline,tennis,’ And ‘P****y Palace‘ chronicles themes of deception, obsessive control, and the emotional pain experienced during their marriage. Allen has called Harbor a “sex addict” and accused her of being insanely controlling despite her “open marriage.”
Harbor’s troubled marriage, along with allegations of bullying and harassment, have fueled speculation among fans about her infrequent appearances at Stranger Things season 5 promotional events. Some fans have rewatched an old video where Brown appears uncomfortable speaking about Harbor.
Adding to the complexity, Brown was asked on MTV before their wedding if Harbor would officiate the ceremony. She was initially hesitant before naming actor Matthew Modine – who plays the show’s antagonist “Dr. Martin Brenner” – as her executive, which led to the show moving away from Harbor.
Stranger Things season 5 is set to release in two parts, with the first premiering on November 26 and the second on Christmas Day, ending with the finale on New Year’s Eve. As the series bids farewell, off-screen dynamics and personal disputes between the beloved cast have added unexpected drama to the highly anticipated conclusion.
