The Khan and Roshan families were left in shock as they bid a final farewell to Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actress, former model and actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan, who passed away on Friday, November 7, at the age of 81.

There were emotional moments at the funeral held in Mumbai later in the day as his son, actor Zayed Khan broke down in tears while performing the last rites. A visibly grief-stricken Zayed was seen surrounded by family members, who tried to console him during the ceremony. His brothers, Fardeen Khan and Simone Arora, along with other close relatives, stood by him as the family paid their last respects.
Actor Hrithik Roshan, who shares close ties with the Khan family – his father Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Khan have been longtime friends – also attended the funeral with his partner Saba Azad. The couple arrived together to express their condolences and stand with the grieving family.
Known for her beauty and warmth, Zarine Khan was a respected personality in the industry and was often seen at family functions and public events. She was battling age-related health issues for the past few months before she passed away at her Mumbai residence.
The industry is mourning the demise of the woman who was remembered not only for her grace but also as the emotional anchor of one of Bollywood’s most prominent film families.
