According to a report by Exchange4Media, Kartik Aaryan has taken a significant step in the industry – he has officially parted ways with longtime management team Collective Artist Network (CAN) and has inked a new charter with power-players Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA), founded by Karan Johar and Rajeev Masand. The change comes at a crucial moment, signaling a fresh start as the actor gears up for an ambitious 2026 slate.

The change follows the much-hyped debacle at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last year. At that time, Karthik’s session to promote his film was suddenly canceled as his former team’s list of demands – 10 extra tickets, two luxury suites, additional five-star accommodation – clashed with the festival organisers. This sparked discussion in the industry about the role of management in star reputation.
Now, joining forces with DCA, an agency that boasts of over 200 talents across film, music and digital, is a strategic upgrade. The roster includes Janhvi Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and many stalwarts from the Bollywood field; Additionally, the agency also represents music artists and digital creators. For Karthik, this means new access to premium brand deals, multi-platform ventures and an advanced image engine.
Interestingly, this move also indicates a rapprochement with the “Dharma Mandal”.
