Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was reportedly taken to Criticare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai after he fainted at his residence late on Tuesday night. According to initial reports, the actor experienced sudden disorientation, following which his family had to seek immediate medical attention. He was admitted to the hospital at around 1 am for emergency treatment.

Confirming the news, Govinda’s close friend and legal advisor Lalit Bindal told NDTV, ‘After consulting the doctor, he was given medicine and admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 in the night.’ Although Bindal refrained from sharing more details, he said that the actor is under medical observation and has undergone several tests to determine the cause of his condition. At present the results of those tests are awaited. At present, no official statement has come from Govinda’s family. Sources close to the actor have indicated that doctors are keeping a close eye on him.
This news comes after Govinda was recently seen visiting Breach Candy hospital to meet veteran actor Dharmendra, who has been battling health complications for the past few days. He joined other Bollywood stars including Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan who met the ailing legend.
On the personal front, the actor has been in the news for his marital life. His wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently made headlines after revealing that the couple has been living separately for some time, leading to widespread speculation about a possible rift. Meanwhile, Govinda had also issued a public apology earlier this month after Sunita allegedly accused a priest, whom she was a fan, of cheating.
While fans are anxiously awaiting a formal update on his health, reports suggest that doctors at Criticare Hospital are continuing clinical trials to ensure his full recovery. As of now, well-wishers are hoping that the beloved entertainer will be back on his feet soon.
