Masti 4, the fourth installment of the popular adult comedy, is finally arriving in theaters tomorrow, November 21, 2025. The film sees the return of the OG Masti trio, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani along with newly added Arshad Warsi, Nargis Fakhri and others.
As expected, the advance bookings of Masti 4 were poor. The film has sold around 5700 tickets on the first day across the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis. Of which, PVR Inox recorded 4500 admissions, while PVR Inox sold around 1200 tickets in total.
Directed by Milan Milap Zaveri, Masti 4 will have a slow start, depending on how its pre-bookings are. This style was doing well in the first half of the last decade, but later lost the market. Currently, adult-comedies are at an all-time low, which means Masti 4 will have to work hard at the box office as it is not a film that can grow over time and rely on word-of-mouth.
Additionally, the promotional assets received a predominantly average to negative response among the audience, which is again a matter of concern. Had its trailer, promos and songs received a unanimous response, there would have been some chances of it doing well at the box office. Still, one cannot predict when a film will make a splash and become a sensation. Let’s see whether the upcoming adult comedy does wonders at the box office or not.
Based on current trends and pre-sales, Masti 4 is expected to start around Rs 20 lakh. 1 crore to Rs. Earning of Rs 1.50 crore on the first day.
