Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fantasy action film Akhand 2, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was initially scheduled to release on December 5, 2025. However, hours before its big screen release, the makers announced that it has been postponed.
Now, the makers have officially announced a new date, and it will hit the theaters on December 12, 2025, with the premiere show on December 11.

The makers shared the update via their official social media handles. The team wrote, “All set for divine destruction at the box office. Feel the sheer power of #Akhand2 in theaters from 12th December with a grand premiere on 11th December.”
According to initial reports, Akhand 2 was pushed due to financial conflicts between the stakeholders. Apparently, some senior people in the Telugu film industry attempted to resolve the issue; However, it could not be settled before 5 December, leading to adjournment.
Even the premiere show, which was initially scheduled for December 4, 2025, could not materialize, leaving audiences in the dark.
