On December 15, a new trailer for the upcoming Stranger Things 5: Volume 2 was shared online by Netflix, giving a glimpse of the story for the upcoming Christmas season release.

The video begins with Will Byers shouting into the void, “We failed,” says Noah Schnapp. It was seen earlier that his magical powers were surprising to the audience. His mother, Joyce, expressed that the fight for the herd was far from over. Next, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) says, “This whole time, everything we’ve thought about the Upside Down has been dead wrong.” His statement raises serious curiosity for fans of the show who can expect more surprises in the coming days.
Additionally, Lucas, Mike, Murray, Nancy, Jonathan, Dustin, Steve, Robin, and Erica are seen moving forward, killing the soldiers in their path.
Vecna heads on a path of destruction and declares, “It’s time. For a new world.” Although these words may excite you, the words that follow may be just as hurtful. Steve and Dustin repeat a dialogue from Stranger Things season 3, bringing back the feeling of doom. “You die, I die.” It is clear that their devoted friendship has created a fear in the minds of their fans.
