Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has officially confirmed that he is working with Akshay Kumar again after a gap of 15 years. While there were speculations about their collaboration for some time, Bazmee put an end to the rumors by revealing that the pair is working on a new comedy project.

Speaking to Mid-Day, Bazmee said that the script of the film is nearing completion. He said, “It’s a comedy. I’m writing the script right now, it’s almost complete. If everything goes as per plan, we’ll start shooting soon.” The film is currently untitled and reports said it could be a remake of the Telugu action-comedy sankrantiki vasthunamBazmee chose not to comment on those claims.
