Dhurandhar went to UP on his second Tuesday in India and collected Rs. Collected. Around Rs 30 crore nett. While Tuesday increases have become a regular trend in the last year since the introduction of discount days, Dhurandhar has not opted for any discounts so far, and still managed to increase the film business. This could be due to additional audiences coming in, as has become the habit now, or the film still being on the ramp.

Pushpa 2 (Hindi)’s Rs. 178 crores, and still two days left. The whole week is on the way to collect money. 240 crore nett or so. This marks an interesting change in the business from the last decade, when it was easier or more often to see a film break the first week record, but now the first week record remains the same since Jawaan in 2023, while the second week record has been renewed for the sixth time in the last three years.
This also gives Dhurandhar another daily record for Hindi films, and it’s not even close as it breaks the previous record of Rs. Chhawa grossed Rs 17.50 crore, with a margin of 65 percent. In that case, when the overall Indian box office records are considered, Dhurandhaar is second only to Baahubali: The Conclusion, which collected Rs. 39.25 crores in all languages. With the pace at which it is going, it may start breaking the records of Baahubali 2 in the coming days.
Dhurandhar was already on its way to becoming the first original Hindi film to cross Rs.1 crore. 600 crore nett, and now, the chances of collecting Rs. Net of Rs 700 crore also. Then of course, Rs. Pushpa 2 (Hindi) has become the highest grossing Hindi film of all time with its earning of Rs 738 crore. Even on Sunday it seemed impossible, but not now. A lot will depend on how it performs this coming Friday when it faces competition from Avatar 3.
