Nora Fatehi recently opened up about the scary moments of the serious car accident she suffered earlier this year, an incident that left her injured and temporarily halted her professional commitments. Recalling the experience, the actor-dancer described how the accident came suddenly, leaving her disoriented and shaken.

As previously reported, the accident happened when a drunk driver hit Nora’s car while she was on her way to attend the Sunburn Festival in Mumbai, where she was scheduled to appear with DJ and music producer David Guetta. After the collision, his team immediately took him to the nearest hospital. Doctors conducted a CT scan to detect internal bleeding, after which he was diagnosed with an injury and advised rest.
Talking about the incident, Nora said, “Hey guys, I’m just here to tell you that I’m okay. Yes, I was in a serious car accident. A drunk guy crashed my car, and unfortunately, the impact was pretty severe, and it threw me across the car. I smashed my head on the window.”
Sharing her health update, Nora said, “I am alive and well. Apart from a few minor bruises, swelling and a slight bruise, I am fine. I am grateful for that. It could have ended in a very horrible way, but I am here to say that you should not drink and drive. I hate alcohol from the beginning. In fact, I am not one of those people who ever liked the idea of alcohol or anything like that, like drugs, marijuana, any of that.” The thing that takes you in. A different state of mind… It’s not something I promote or even enjoy being around.”
She added, “You shouldn’t be drinking and driving. It’s 2025. I can’t believe this is even a conversation. I can’t believe this is even a scenario that would happen. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, I could never have imagined that someone would be driving drunk and hurting people. With that being said, I just want to let everyone know that I’m okay. I will be in pain for a while, but, thank God That I’m alive.”
A day later, Nora made a strong return to the spotlight when she joined David Guetta on stage at Sunburn Festival 2025, turning what could have been a slow comeback into one of the most talked-about moments of the event. Their presence was more than a symbolic gesture, as the duo teased their upcoming global single.fire starter,’ In which Ciara is also included. The timing of the appearance coincides with an important stage of Nora’s international travel.
