Avatar Fire and Ash Box Office 3rd Monday: James Cameron’s film earns Rs 1.50 crore, nears dramatic end

James Cameron-directed Avatar: Fire and Ash’s earnings dropped by nearly 65 percent from its third Friday. The film made Rs. It earned Rs 1.50 crore on Monday, taking the third week’s earning to Rs. Rs 17.50 crore in four days. It is expected to make its third week at Rs. Will be around. 21 crores or so. Avatar: Fire and Ash’s gross now stands at Rs. Earning 206 crores at Indian box office.

Since the drop on Monday is significant, the film is now looking towards a dramatic ending soon, which will be much lower than earlier predicted. Although James Cameron’s film has emerged as a hit venture in India, its box office performance seems mediocre compared to Avatar: The Way of Water. For the record, the previous Avatar film made around Rs. 465 crores, which is still the highest collection for a Hollywood film in India.

This probably happened because the third installment received a mixed response among audiences and critics, which affected its potential. Furthermore, the anticipation for Avatar: The Way of Water was on another level as it was coming after almost a decade.

The box office collections of Avatar: Fire and Ash in India are as follows:

Day Total
week 1 Rupee. 128.50 crores.
week 2 Rupee. 60.00 crores.
third friday Rupee. 4.00 crores.
third saturday Rupee. 5.75 crores.
third sunday Rupee. 6.00 crores. (EST.)
third monday Rupee. 1.50 crores. (EST.)
Total Rupee. 206 crores.

On the global front, the science-fiction action adventure film has already entered the US$1 billion club. It wants to wrap its entire business around US$1.50 billion to US$1.70 billion.
