Raja Saab Overseas Advance Booking: Prabhas’ film earns US$2 million in opening weekend, 1 day left for release

Prabhas’ horror comedy film, The Raja Saab earned approximately US$2 million in advance bookings for its opening weekend in international markets. Out of which advances of approximately US$1.77 million were recorded on the opening day alone. The Raja Saab, considered to be the most expensive horror-comedy film of Indian cinema, has taken a great leap today. Due to the postponement of Jan Nayagan, its performance also recorded a good increase.

Raja Saab has seen its best progress so far in North America, which is usually a special destination for Telugu films. It grossed approximately US$1.25 million on its first day and premiered in the United States and grossed approximately US$50K in Canada. The Prabhas starrer earned US$255K from the United Kingdom and Europe belt, while Australia and New Zealand contributed US$140K, and the Gulf countries contributed US$75K in advance.

Raja Saab is expected to have a great start at the box office. However, its fate will depend on how audiences receive its content and how the film performs during the festivals.
