Taapsee Pannu finds out about the downside of PR: ‘You get paid to push yourself and tear someone else down’

Before that, I didn’t have the bandwidth to focus on it because I was too busy doing my work. Now that I have put things on hold in a conscious effort, I thought let me see what’s happening around me. And I realized that this PR game has been taken to another level. You’re either paying to push yourself, that’s a version of PR. When did your success become dependent on someone else’s failure?”

The Thappad actor mentioned that it was very shocking for him as people have started creating new aspects for his relevance. He elaborated on how the voices the actors make do not match their films. Taapsee further said, ‘Politics and feminism have been very misunderstood. Taapsee revealed that she wants to create a filmography that will remain relevant and stand the test of time for many years to come.
