Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu Box Office Collection: Chiranjeevi starrer takes a grand opening of Rs 63 crore worldwide on first day

Telugu film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu made Rs. Took the opening. Earned around Rs 42 crore at the Indian box office on Monday. This includes Rs. Around 11.25 crore previews from Sunday night. Additionally, the Chiranjeevi starrer has grossed approximately USD 2.30 million (Rs 21 crore) internationally, giving it a worldwide first day earning of Rs. Approximately Rs 63 crores.

For Chiranjeevi, it is his second highest opener in India and worldwide after Saira Narasimha Reddy, by a very narrow margin. While some of Syeraa’s collections were coming out outside Telugu in India, including Hindi and Tamil versions, for MSVP, it’s all just Telugu.

The opening has been overall good, but more importantly, the film has received a positive response. This is important, as the film is now entering the extremely lucrative Sankranthi holiday period. During Sankranti, the Telugu box office, especially in Andhra Pradesh, is on steroids for almost a week. The film is all set to capitalize on this, gearing itself up for a big showdown. Over the years, director Anil Ravipudi has delivered several big-grossing films during the Sankranti festival, including last year’s blockbuster Sankranti Vasthunam, which collected around Rs. 200 crores in Telugu states. Man Shankar Vara Prasad Garu has taken a very high opening, and expectations are naturally high for an even bigger final collection. Many centers in Andhra Pradesh are likely to see record-breaking numbers in the next seven days.
