A source told IHNS“The letter has been addressed to producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bhardwaj of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment last week. It claims that o’romeo Probably Hussain Ustara has been shown in a bad light, which is affecting the reputation of the family. That’s why he has asked for money. Rs 2 crore for the same. Along with the financial demand, Sanobar has also reportedly requested the producers to stall or cancel the release of the film until his concerns are addressed to his satisfaction.

While the matter remains a topic of discussion, it is important to note that there has been no official confirmation from the makers about the film being based on any real-life person. However, there has been speculation for some time that o’romeo Hussain can be inspired by the stories related to Ustara and Sapna Didi. Furthermore, the teaser, which was released on January 10, mentions that the film is inspired by real events.

It now remains to be seen how the makers choose to respond – whether they issue a clarification, engage legally, or maintain silence until the film’s release.

This marks Shahid Kapoor’s fourth collaboration with director Vishal Bhardwaj Bastard (2009), Haider (2014) and rangoon (2017). It is all set to release in theaters on 13th February.
