Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer Dhurandhar released on Netflix at midnight on January 30. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, is still creating a strong buzz on social media. However, a section of viewers have pointed out that a “censored” version of the film appears to be streamed on the platform. The runtime of Dhurandhar on Netflix is 3 hours and 25 minutes – which is nine minutes less than its original duration of 3 hours and 34 minutes.
Now, IHNS has exclusively learned that the makers have presented a version of Dhurandhar without any cuts and edits. The source explains, “The producers submitted a version for the Netflix release without any edits or cuts. The version distributed on the streaming platform fully complies with Netflix’s mandate and requirements.”
The film was proposed without any edits or cuts, leading to speculations of a “censored” cut on OTT. “The production team went by Netflix’s orders and requirements,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the makers have officially announced that Dhurandhar 2 is all set for a grand release on March 19, 2026, on Eid 2026. It will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, marking its pan-India and global rollout of five languages.
