One of India’s most iconic OTT franchises has made its long-awaited leap into theatres. Makers announce theatrical release date as 4th September Mirzapur: The Moviepromises audiences a larger-than-life cinematic experience rooted in the tough world they love. The film brings back the iconic characters of Mirzapur – Kaalin Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), and marks the much-awaited return of one of the most loved characters of the franchise, Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu). Now, for the first time, the cult saga of Mirzapur has hit the theatres, transforming its beloved world into an epic big screen experience.

Amazon MGM Studios, and Excel Entertainment present an Excel Entertainment production, directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Punit Krishna. The film will be released in theaters on September 4, 2026.
