The upcoming film The Paradise recently announced the postponement of its release. To avoid a major clash with Ram Charan’s Peddi, which was earlier slated to release in March 2026, like the Nani starrer, both the films have successfully changed their premiere plans. While the sports drama will now release on April 30, the release date of the action film has been set for August 21, 2026. Amidst all the changes, there are rumors of The Paradise being released in two parts, with a follow-up film releasing soon after. However, the makers have confirmed that the film will be a standalone release.
The Paradise has locked an independent release in August
There is a lot of excitement about the release of actor Nani’s upcoming project The Paradise. With the new release date of August 21st, fans are curious about the progress and prospects of the sequel. According to 123 Telugu, the film will be released as a freestanding production with no connection to other works and will be a single part drop without any follow-up. This was reportedly revealed by the producers to a fan who was curious about the future of the film.
Earlier, there were murmurs of a possible box office clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar 2 and Peddi and The Paradise. With excitement growing for all four projects, Peddie has jumped off the hook with an April release plan, and The Paradise has moved to an August premiere date, as announced yesterday. However, the Yash and Ranveer Singh-led films have not been pushed back yet, with both targeting a March 19, 2026 release.
Everything we know so far about The Paradise
Meanwhile, Nani’s The Paradise will be directed by Srikanth Odela and is touted to be a high-octane action film. Apart from the lead star, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and Ishwari Rao are reported to be involved in important roles. It is said to be the story of an underprivileged group that challenges the authorities and fights for their rights.
