The Telugu film Funky, starring Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar, showed no signs of growth. In fact, despite it being Valentine’s Day, there was a 20 percent decline in the film’s earnings on the second day. Although it was not a holiday, it was still a profitable day from a business point of view. Since Funky is a rom-com and it targets the young audience, it should have at least remained stable.
As per estimates, the film collected Rs. It earned Rs 2 crore on the second day, taking its two-day earning to Rs. It’s done. Earning of Rs 4.50 crore in India. A large part of this came from his home ground. Considering the decline on Valentine’s Day, the increase on Sunday is quite disappointing.
Directed by Anudeep KV, the romantic comedy is headed towards a disappointing performance, if it doesn’t show any miraculous trends on weekdays. The film received mixed reactions among the audience, which may have been a major reason for the film’s struggle.
