creator of Dhurandhar: Revenge has unveiled an intriguing new trailer that promises to continue the story even more intense and action-packed. This film serves as a sequel stalwart And this is the second installment in planned dualism. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the upcoming spy action thriller stars Ranveer Singh along with Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera are in lead roles. Many of the supporting cast from the first film are also set to reprise their roles.
Dhurandhar 2 trailer gives a glimpse of Ranveer Singh’s deadly mission promising a new wave of revenge
The trailer begins with a voiceover that references the aftermath of the death of Rehman Dacoit aka Akshay Khanna, setting the stage for a darker and more dangerous chapter in the story. It also offers a brief glimpse of Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi before he takes on the identity of Hamza Ali Mazaar, hinting at the deeper layers of his secret mission.
In the film, Singh plays the role of an Indian intelligence operative who continues his infiltration of Karachi’s criminal networks and political power structures in Pakistan. As the story unfolds, the agent’s mission becomes more personal as he seeks revenge for the devastating attacks in India while facing new threats that threaten both his cover and his life. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
Interestingly, the sequel was shot back-to-back with the first installment. Principal photography began in July 2024 in Bangkok and continued across locations including Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Some international scenes were also filmed in Thailand, which doubled for the Pakistan-based settings in the story. The technical team behind the film includes composer Shashwat Sachdev, cinematographer Vikash Naulakha and editor Shivkumar V. Panikkar.
With a mix of espionage, revenge and intense action, Dhurandhar: Revenge It aims to expand on the scale established by the first film while delving deeper into the hero’s journey. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on March 19, 2026, coinciding with festivals including Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid-ul-Fitr.
