Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has released the first poster of his upcoming film. i will come backAudiences are being treated to an early glimpse of the project ahead of its teaser launch at 1pm today. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh along with Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari Wagh in lead roles.

Sharing the poster on social media, Ali announced, “i will come back. Teaser releasing today at 1PM,” confirming that the film will hit the theaters on June 12, 2026.
The film is backed by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, with Mohit Chaudhary also attached as producer. According to the makers, the project is described as a story exploring themes of love and longing. One of the notable aspects of the film is Ali’s reunion with composer AR Rahman and lyricist Irshad Kamil. This trio has worked together in films before pageant, highway and biographical drama 2024 amar singh brightIn which Dosanjh was also in the lead role.

Earlier reports about the film said that it brings Dosanjh, Raina and Sharvari together on screen for the first time, with Shah adding a veteran presence to the ensemble cast. Production on the film began in 2025 and the project is currently in post-production as it is set for theatrical release in June 2026. Now along with the poster, the teaser to be released later today is expected to offer the first visual glimpse of Ali’s next directorial venture.
