Ram Gopal Varma had an entertaining session on the first day of Red Lorry Film Festival 2026 before the screening of his cult film. Shiva (1990). RGV was asked about his upcoming ventures and he made some interesting announcements which left the audience and fans excited.
Ram Gopal Varma makes a surprising claim: “With my next film Syndicate, I will wash away all my sins; it will shock everyone”; It also confirms, “The government will go to the floor on April 4, 2026”.
Ram Gopal Varma started off by saying, “After a long time, I recently came back to Mumbai. I just decided that ‘enough is enough’. This may sound like a very arbitrary statement but with this film, I have decided to wash away all my sins! It will shock everyone. The name of the film is syndicate”
There was a lot of applause on this statement. Ram Gopal Varma’s next statement also increased the enthusiasm, “I am also making Government 4. I will start that film next month.”
He then joked about his ‘washing away sins’ statement and said, “After I make this statement, you also have to remember the idiom, ‘The proof is in the food’.”
