Filmmaker Kabir Khan has gifted a Mini Cooper SE to his wife, television host and actor Mini Mathur. The electric hatchback is understood to be a 2023 model that is finished in Melting Silver exterior shade and adds a premium EV to the couple’s garage.
Kabir Khan has reportedly gifted a Mini Cooper SE worth Rs 32 lakh to wife Mini Mathur.
The Mini Cooper SE represents a full-electric version of the brand’s iconic compact car. The reported vehicle has a 32.6 kWh battery pack and has an estimated driving range of around 275 kilometers on a single charge. It produces 182 bhp of maximum power and 270 Nm of torque, positioning it as a performance-oriented urban electric vehicle in the premium hatchback segment.
As per the details available, the first owner of the vehicle is a 2023 model, which has around 2,200 kms on the odometer and is registered in Chandigarh. Its stated price is around Rs 32 lakh.
Mini Cooper remains a celebrity favorite
While the Cooper SE represents the brand’s electric direction, petrol variants of the Mini Cooper remain popular among many celebrities across the industry.
Amitabh Bachchan has a red Mini Cooper which was gifted to him by his grandson. Hrithik Roshan was spotted with a sky blue variant, while Deepika Padukone was also spotted with a blue Mini Cooper in Mumbai.
Actor Kartik Aryan previously gifted a green Mini Cooper to his mother, and Dulquer Salmaan, known for his interest in automobiles, has a green Mini as part of his personal collection often referred to as “369 Garage”. Malayalam actor Arjun Ashokan has also recently added a white Mini Cooper S JCW Edition to his garage.
