Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Hindi) started its second week with another amazing number, collecting Rs. Earning around Rs 36 crore on Friday. The film starring Ranveer Singh topped the charts with earnings of Rs. Net mark of Rs 600 crore, cumulatively Rs. Earning around Rs 606 crore in nine days. It is expected that the film will collect more than Rs 10 crore. 150 crore collection in the second weekend, which will put it just above Rs. Earning of Rs 700 crore till Sunday.
Additionally, the South-dubbed versions earned Rs. Total Rs 4.25 crore yesterday. Earned Rs. Overall around 33.50 crores, the total collection across all versions was Rs. About Rs 640 crore nett.
The decline compared to Thursday’s holiday was only 13 percent outstanding. Ram Navami holiday was on Friday in some states, mostly in South India, while in most it was Thursday. There was a rise in the places where there were holidays yesterday, while there was a lot of strength in other places also. What makes this grab even more impressive is the pricing factor. The film runs weekdays at weekend ticket rates, which usually leaves little room for Friday increases. Typically, collections increase as prices rise over the weekend, but the benefits had already been reaped. In such a case, there could have been a decline in business, but the film successfully avoided it.
The Second Friday number is the highest ever, surpassing the previous best buck. 31 crores earned by its own predecessor Dhurandhar. From here, it will turn into a head-to-head battle between the two films for the daily record. While Dhurandhar: The Revenge will probably take the next two days, it will become challenging from the second Monday. The first Dhurandhar started off modestly before building momentum in its first week and then putting up extraordinary numbers in its second week. On the contrary, it had a promising start and has been trending brilliantly so far.
