The latest Hollywood science-fiction action adventure, Project Hail Mary, continues to perform well at the Indian box office. After taking the initial amount of Rs. The film saw a rise in earnings over the weekend with a collection of Rs 3 crore. Estimates suggest that the sci-fi film made Rs. On the fourth day (Sunday) it earned Rs 6.25 crore.
This makes its 4 day weekend fee Rs. Earning Rs 18.50 crore at the Indian box office. Interestingly, this is one of the biggest opening weekends for a non-IP Hollywood sci-fi film in India. The film starring Ryan Gosling received a positive response from the audience, which is now plying its trade at the ticket window. Its shows also saw good growth over the weekend due to audience demand.
Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the sci-fi film should aim to hold good on weeknights as well. If it manages to perform on the expected lines, the Ryan Gosling starrer could rake in Rs. It grossed Rs 50 crore at the Indian box office in its entire run.
