According to a report in Mid-Day, a desert action sequence featuring Anil Kapoor and Suhana Khan was originally scheduled to be shot in Dubai from April 9. The schedule was expected to last for around a week and the team had already obtained the necessary permissions to shoot in the emirate. However, the plan was modified keeping security considerations in mind.
A source told the publication, “The team had secured the necessary permissions to shoot in the Emirates. It was to be a one-week schedule from April 9. But considering the dynamic situation in the region, the makers decided not to take any risks with the safety of the cast and crew.”
Following the change in plans, the makers have reportedly recreated the desert set in a studio in Vile Parle, Mumbai to continue filming without any disruption. The same source said that the production team designed the sequence extensively to match the director’s vision. “They are making every effort to match the scale that Siddharth had envisioned for the set-piece. In fact, this gives them more control over the action beats and lighting. The sequence starts with a chase, which results in an intense fight.”
