Malayalam film Vaazah 2 has registered a bumper opening weekend. Released on April 2, this film earned more than Rs 2 crore. Earned ₹67 crore in its 4-day extended opening weekend. Of this, a significant portion of Rs. Rs 26.50 crore came from Kerala alone, while the rest of the Indian markets contributed Rs. 4 crores in the tally, taking the domestic revenue to Rs. 30.50 crores.
Reason 2 also performed very well in international markets. It received approximately 3,931,000 US dollars from abroad i.e. approximately Rs. meet. 36.50 crores as per Indian currency. The film grossed over US$3 million from the Middle East alone, which is a fantastic collection.
With such impressive performances, Reason 2 has already emerged as a huge success at the worldwide box office. The film recorded the fourth highest opening weekend ever for a Malayalam film after L2 Empuraan, Aadu 3 and Thoodaram.

After the success of Reason: Biopic of one billion boysProducer and writer Vipin Das returned with a sequel titled ‘Waza 2: Biopic of a Billion Brothers’. Directed by Savin Sa, the film stars Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak in lead roles.
It is composed by the band Malayali Monkeys with Rajat Prakash (Hatsmith), Parvathish Pradeep, Razi, Muthu, Arkado, Jazeer Muhammad, Ashwin Aryan and Electronic Killy, while A Team handled the background score. Music directed by Ankit Menon. Akhil Lailasuran took charge of the cinematography and Kannan Mohan served as the editor.
