creator of ghost bangla The film’s runtime has been finalized at 164 minutes and 52 seconds after new voluntary edits were accepted by the Central Board of Film Certification on 11 April. The horror comedy has been certified UA 16+ ahead of its theatrical rollout in India.

Earlier, in the censor certificate issued on April 2, the duration of the film was stated to be 174 minutes and 57 seconds. After additional modifications by the team, the runtime was reduced to 10 minutes and 5 seconds. The update period is now 2 hours, 44 minutes and 52 seconds.
As part of the latest changes, the makers have cut 63 scenes. While many cuts consisted of only a few seconds, the longest removal ran for 72 seconds from a sequence of the song.Hey babe!.’ 27 more seconds were removed from the song.Oh Re Oh Saawariya.’
During the initial certification process, the examination committee also suggested some modifications. An obscene word was changed at the 26th minute, while another set of offensive words were asked to be changed around the hour mark. An obscene word appearing in the subtitles at the end of the film was removed. A derogatory reference to women in the first part was changed, and the producers were instructed to include a disclaimer regarding religious and superstitious references in the narrative.
After the implementation of these changes, the film got the censor certificate on 2 April.
The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 16 with paid previews, while advance booking is scheduled to begin on April 14. The updated runtime brings the final version closer to its theatrical release as anticipation grows around the Akshay Kumar starrer.
